‘‘We Will Participate in the IGM 2022 Exhibition to Introduce Our Products to the Market’’
Durak Tekstil, one of the companies that reserved its place at the IGM 2022 Exhibition, has a long history of 50 years. As of today, it continues its activities by producing industrial sewing and embroidery threads in its facilities in Bursa and Changxing city of China. Durak Tekstil Board Member and Marketing Director Yiğit Durak explains how they decided to participate in the IGM 2022 Exhibition as follows: ‘‘Exporting to more than 75 countries, Durak Textile will take its place at the IGM 2022 Exhibition both to introduce its products to the market and to strengthen its ties with the market. Our main goal was to reflect our brand strength when deciding to participate in the exhibition. We believe that IGM 2022, which will be held by Teknik Fairs Inc., which also organizes the ITM Exhibition, one of the leading machinery exhibitions of the textile industry, is the right platform for this. In addition to meeting with professionals from the entire supply chain of the Turkish textile and apparel industry, we expect to gain global connections at the exhibition. IGM 2022 will contribute to clarifying our market perspective for the coming year.’’
Stating that the IGM 2022 exhibition is of great importance for the Turkish textile and ready-to-wear industry to optimize its production processes and strengthen its connections with the global market, Yiğit Durak continues as follows: ‘‘The production power of the Turkish textile and ready-made clothing industry is very competitive compared to its region. As in previous years, the textile and ready-to-wear sector realized growth in exports in 2021, which is more than the increase in Turkey’s total export rate. In this context, it is very important for our industry to coordinate processes that will reduce production costs and reach opportunities that will enable them to reach new markets.’’
